1998-Present: Continuing The Legacy

An era ended with the death of Mr. Herzstein, but the legacy continues. The ideals of quality and creativity are still an integral part of grant applications and process. The foundation’s concepts of personal responsibility and resourcefulness are apparent in it’s grant recipients, which include organizations who offer advancement opportunities to individuals, through education and enrichment of the human spirit.

The grant application process is designed to provide creative freedom to non-profit organizations seeking aid for projects dear to their heart. In addition to a form requiring specific information, applicants are encouraged to package the application in a manner that exudes passion and commitment.

Preference is given to groups and projects that receive little or no support from the government. Herzstein Charitable Foundation continues to make contributions resulting in substantive, positive change.
